The Basics:
No need to wear ruffles and bows (unless that’s your thing) now that you are pregnant.
2. Think fitted, not frump.
The most flattering silhouette for your new curves is form fitting – but think comfort not tightness.
All Yummy Maternity Capsule Wardrobe items are constructed in super soft bamboo with 360 degree seamless stretchiness.
If I can’t wear leggings, I’m not going. That’s it.
A different scarf, pair of earrings or handbag will change your whole look – also they will ALWAYS fit!
A few timeless essentials in black and white are all you need. Invest in good quality basics, just like our gal Vivienne Westwood said: ‘Buy less, choose well, make it last’
Ok, basics down, time to actually get dressed:
Undies: You really feel like you have your life together when you have matching bras and knickers.
A Belly Band is a lifesaver: give yourself a few extra months in your regular jeans or pants with this nifty little garment.
Choose your base layers: Leggings and a tank can go anywhere and you can accessorize anyhow.
Tshirts: Once you have your Tank Top base layer, or your Belly Band, look for regular soft T shirts to wear over the top.
A great jacket: Your denim jacket or classic trench will serve you just as well as your bump grows. A classic blazer dresses up your tank and your leather jacket will add some rock appeal – you DO NOT need to be able to button / zip them up.
A simple stretchy dress or two: Choose something comfy as an everyday go-to essential, and make sure it’s something you can dress up or down.
A classic white shirt: have a look in your man’s wardrobe: a simple white shirt can be styled up with a great under boob belt and cleverly rolled sleeves.
And finally: never underestimate the power of a great red lipstick, fabulous sunglasses and a gorgeous mani and pedi.
